God loves us but also needs to maintain discipline.

Personal opinions below. I assume there is a God who made the Earth, Sky, Math, Physics… Basically everything… Now it is my attempt to make sense of it.

Fancy cover for Thumbnail.

Summary:

God loves us… but god can’t fulfill our wishes everytime.

He has set rules which he can’t break.

We can pray “give me this give me that.” When god doesn’t give, it is not his fault.

Because God made rules for this world. You want car? Earn money and buy it yourself. Whatever we want, there is already a step to get it.

“I have already made this world for you… go get what you want yourself.”

God loves us all, but it doesn’t mean he can give us everything anytime.

Why?

Because when god created the world, he made rules.

These rules are simple. We see them every day.

  • If you dress well, people will like you.
  • If you have a strong CV, you may get the job.

So if you want to be liked, you can’t just pray… You have to dress well.

If you want a job, you can’t just pray… You have to make a nice CV.

So God loves everyone, but he can’t grant wishes of all… Because they don’t follow his rules for the world.

Here’s my take:

Loving God is not an excuse for being lazy or entitled.

If you want to fly a plane, the math and physics has to be correct.

Our faith and just praying “God please fly this plane” won’t work.

But if God loves us, why won’t the plane fly?

Because nature has it’s maths and physics rules. If you want to fly a plane, follow the rules.

Who made the rules? God.

God is granting your wishes by creating rules in this world. You must follow… have common sense, and make decisions.

God made rules for everything:

  • To fly a plane, these calculations are needed.
  • A person should have minimum this to get this job.
  • To get a girlfriend, this has to be done… etc.

That is how he maintains order in the world. He has rules for everything.

Healthy diet? Don’t just pray. Study diet.

Healthy body? Don’t just pray. Exercise.

Since Earth has existed for millions and billions of years, I think God knows what he is doing. Maybe his rules are actually working.

This is what we have. This is what god made. And now we are here.

When we are praying to God, we must remember that we have to work and make effort.

God loves us all, but god has to maintain discipline.

A poor guy says god give me a BMW. But no one gets a BMW by praying. You need money.

When God made the world, god said “you bring money, you take the car.” Although god loves this poor person, he can’t fulfill his wish because that’s not how world works.

God loves us all, but knows that a soldier needs to suffer in army training camp to be strong.

God sees that a company may be helping 10,000 people, and if a unqualified person prays to get a job, God will say No. Now you know the reason why. Because God has a world to run, man!

By seeing a Rejection email, you can see that is God manifesting in your life. God as discipline.

This is how the world was made. As students of God, maybe we should actually follow his rules. Take responsibility. To try and compete.

Someone who I look up to dearly said something like, “Enlightenment doesn’t come if you sit around. You have to go out and do stuff.”

You can’t just pray for good things in life. God can’t give you. God can only give to those who are working!

So when we say God loves us all no matter what, I want to remember that the “Supreme Bro” has his rules. He Loves us a lot, but it does not mean absence of pain and suffering.

Now, his actual love is love balanced by intelligence and discipline. Maybe when we deserved 100% punishment for our bad deed, because he is kind, he gave us 20%.

Or maybe he gave us in installments 20% for 5 years 😜 If we did some exceptional job, he gave us a lot of gifts, but at the right time when we needed it.

So as people who study god, who want to understand god, it is our job to learn the laws of land, learn the laws of practicality, see how things are done, and do it. We do it as if it’s on us.

Note: I havent’ discussed the good aspects, blessings aspects of God in this chat. They tone may feel like God doesn’t provide us what we want… I feel like thats only half knowledge. God also probably should give abundantly… Let’s hope we’ll chat about God’s generosity and kindness… things given to us even when we didn’t deserved them… sometime in the future.

The GIFs are taken from tenor.com. They belong to them. Me no credits.

Ideally, god can do everything. How, we don’t know. We believe it. But for the sake of “Earthly life” in 21st century, I am saying God can’t do this and that.
